So anyways, we realized that it was general admission so we went in about an hour early and walked right up to the front of the stage. The energy that night was incredible. So the house lights go down, and the small venue erupts with a noise that gives me goosebumps every time. The Last Tube opener was amazing. I still couldn't believe that i was right in front of Trey as he was jamming out (much better than my usual lawn seats.)

During the jam, I close my eyes and go into my own world and let the music hit me. So I have my eyes closed and i'm sorta just grooving and banging my head to the jam. I open my eyes and Trey is looking right at me banging his head to the beat just as I am.

I had the perfect weekend with my awesome girlfriend and we got to dance about 10 feet away from Trey!

It isn't about how many shows you've seen, or how many bootlegs you own. For me, Phish is about the feeling you get at a show when the lights go down, or during a crazy jam. It's musical bliss.
