I dated a guy for almost four years who loves Phish with every fiber of his body. He never pushed the music on me but eventually "I got it."  What a glorious and memorable time that was, sharing all the music and reading anything I could get my hands on. I attended my first Phish concert before I understood quality music and how to really listen to it. I'd give anything to go back to that first Phish show so I could fully embrace it. 

I'm so thankful Dave brought Phish into my life, and now I hope that someday Phish can bring Dave back into my life. Dave and I are no longer together (long story), but we have hope that someday Phish will return from their hiatus and we will meet up at designated spot at Shoreline in Mt. View, CA. Trying to explain Phish to other people can be so unfulfilling, and yet Dave and I could talk about them for hours and know exactly what the other was trying to say. How lucky I was to have gotten to experience the two loves of my life together.
