So i was driving my girlfriend home last night, and when we drove by this gas station by her house, there were probably 15 cop cars driving around this gas station and sitting in the parking lot. i saw that the front window was shattered, and i just drove by, not really thinking about it. I dropped her off at her house, which is in a circle about 3 blocks away from the station. 

as i was pulling out of the circle, i saw that a cop was following me around. I was just listening to a kick-ass live Wilson when i saw the lights go on in my rear view mirror. "Well, i didn't do anything wrong," i told myself, to calm my nerves. he came up to my car window while trey was screaming, "can you still have fun, now Wilson?" i thought this was kinda ironic, but anyway... 

i gave him my license, walked back to the car with him, and sat in the front seat. he said that i matched the description of the robber, which i thought was impossible, because i was wearing a white beanie with black stripes, a phish long sleeve tee shirt, blue jeans, and brown slippers. (i KNOW the cop saw the phish sticker on the back of my truck and figured he could find some pot in my truck or something), so he said that he needed to search my truck. i said sure cause i had nothing to hide. 

This other cop searched it while the cop asked me some really retarded questions, probably to see if i was stoned or something. well, they found nothing in my truck and sent me on my way. 

this is just a reminder that there are a lot of stereotypical people out there, especially cops, so be ready for anything.

Editor's Note: In this case, I probably would have done the same thing John did, but consider this:  Next time you get pulled over for no reason, and you have nothing to hide, why not assert your right to privacy?  You have nothing to lose, there's no risk of getting arrested (unless you get belligerent, which you shouldn't), and hey, it might be fun to trick the officer into believing you're holding a large amount of heroine, when you actually have no illegal substances at all.  Just a thought that popped in my head...
