PholkTales: Random Acts of Kindness
So the first night of Phish in Coney Island i didn't have a ticket. I, along with many others, was on the dire search for an extra, but we all knew in the back of our minds no one would have one. So i decide to take matters into my own hands, and to make a long story short, after trying four (4) times to get into Key Span park, i was shit out of luck and was threatened by the NYPD that if i tried again i would be arrested. SOOO i stop there spit out some vulgar words and keep on my way.

NOW to the miracle....2nd night. I noticed a scalper selling tickets for face value at the beginning of the show. I had $0.00, actually i had about $5 in change (nickels, dimes, and quarters). I'm broke as a joke. So after the first set i was just bummin around and i hear the same scalper selling tickets at half price. $20!! to see phish in brooklyn. Now this is where the random act of kindness comes in. I run around the lot telling people they can get into the show for $20. of course nobody believes me. except 2 people...A guy named TJ and a girl name Lisa.

I bring TJ and Lisa to this scalper and TJ says "Let me get 2 tickets for me and my girlfriend."  The scalper kindly sells the 2 kids the tickets and states that he has only one more left. TJ goes back to the scalper "Hey man let me get 3 tickets for $50"...the scalper thinks and agrees. TJ handed me the third ticket and we got in for the entire second set on the field. I WAS MIRACLED and couldn't believe it.
