It's was are first show. Cincinnati (2/21/03). my freind dropped us of downtown cinci (I don't drive and my friend didn't at the time b/c of stupid cop's). so we got down there about 3 pm and all we had was $180 all together. we had no place to sleep. and we didn't have any money for food. we had a change of clothes in are packs along with food (a pack of smokes and a 4th). when we got down there we had to look for tickets. we knew we could find something but the prices were a bitch. we found "home-boy" in front of the venue that sold us a ticket for $90 each.

We knew we had to do it b/c we had to see phish. I had waited 5 years to finally see them and my freind 3 years.
so we got are tickets we were set. we walked around the lot tailgating for a while... it was finally like 15 min. before it started. we had a bags on we walked up to go in but we couldn't bring are bags in. we didn't know what to do since we didn't have a car or anything.

We walked around for about 10 min trying to find someone that will let us store em in there car till the shows over. finally we found someone. I remember the dudes name he was karry. he was with his wife. they were from Georgia. the were so nice. so we went inside. holly shit. it was everything I dreamed of. I seriously cant put it into words. like everyone says. you totally have to be there. so we got back into the parking lot chilled with kerry and his wife. So we left them for the night and had to find somewhere to sleep. we walked around the city all night and finally about 4 am we went to to some hotel and slepted in there stairwell. we saw karry and his wife the next day.

We didn't have money to see phish that night. so we chilled in the city and were thankful that we saw them the first night (the first night was the better night. but I got a show of the 2nd night. and it was good. but o well) so I guess the moral is. kerry and you wife (I'm so sorry I cant remember your wife's name) were ever you guys are if you can read this god bless you guys.
