I phlew in on the morning of the first show, and my buddy who got in the night before picked me up at the airport. There was one hitch, even though he flew across country & I flew across the Pacific Ocean... we did not have tix for either show. To make it all the more difficult, we both had brought our chicks with us, so we had to score them tix also. 

For those of you who are mathematically challenged, that's 8 tix for two shows that we needed to secure in a short amount of time. We basically decided to cruise up and down the strip, drink beers all day, throw some chips around various gambling establishments, and look for "phish phriendly pholks" who might have extra tix. To make a long, fun story short, we got all the tix we needed for both nights, all at face value. 

I would like to say mahalo (hawaiian for thank you) to all of our phriends in the phish community for being so easy to spot and for not taking us to the cleaners. Only one asshole tried to get a $100 for the Sat. night show, when we were only 3 hours from show time and needed only one more ticket.. "It's Trey's birthday man, these tix will be going for two fifty," he tried to tell me. I basically told him he was a jackass and that dudes like him are da kine that make the rest of us sick.
