Alec was, and is the biggest Phishhead I have ever met. Alec ate, drank, breathed, and most of all... loved Phish. It was contagious... soon we were all hopelessly fixed to our favorite band. Even one time we put on Phish at Alecs' apartment, I wish I could remember the song... and danced for hours...that is the moment I realized I was a Phishhead and that these were the best friends ever. So when Phish came by our town we had to go. And when Alec told us it was their last show before they went on Hiatis, we jumped on our tickets. 

I went to the show, not knowing what to think of these goofy people who all seemed to act like Alec. Me and my buddy Nick watched the show, and we got super-ripped. I had no money, so Nick bought me a Burrito, (Thank you Nick) and we continued to watch the show. I can't describe the feeling in words, so I won't even try... all I can say is that it was a great show and one of the best experiences of my life. 

Shortly after that show, my parents decided (I was only 16 at the time) that I was screwing up too bad, and kicked me out, and sent me into rehab. I just got back from 8 months of treatment, and a lot happened. I quit drugs, and I'm going to Portland next fall to go to college. I don't know what to say to my friends, so tears rolling down my cheeks, I wrote this story which I think sums up a lot of my wordless feelings. I love you guys, thanx.
