This kid is completely hilarious and has a good talent for writing. He knew I was going to be up in 2nd row, so he wrote a Phishy limerick for each of the members of the band and gave me a copy, hoping I could somehow make contact with a band member and get the poems to them. I wasn't able to do that, but I did meet Page's wife, Sophie. 

We chatted for a little bit, but for the most part she kept to herself. When the 1st set ended I turned around to her and asked if she could do me a HUGE favor. She asked me what I needed, and I explained my friends costume, how much he loves the band, and the story behind the Limericks. 

She loved the Slave spin-off and I told her that NICU was his favorite song. I asked her to give them to Fishman and she said no problem. SCORE!!! I immediately ran up to my friend and told him what happened. He sprung up and gave me the biggest hug and it felt so good knowing I made him that happy. 

I chilled with him for the setbreak, doing things people do during setbreaks, and headed back down when I felt the energy build up. During the 2nd set, they busted out NICU and Slave to the Traffic Light. I couldn't believe it. Needless to say, my buddy Tom was flipping out when we met up after the show. I think he thanked me 100 times that night. You may now see Tom on tour as "The Graduate" in full green graduation cap and gown. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience....
