Date: December 31, 2000

Story: My girlfriend and I went to the show with some friends of ours, and were having a blast. My buddy was holding our only pipe, though... so he had to be around for head checks. Right after the New Year came, he and his girlfriend left for the bathroom, never to be seen again (that night). 

Without a pipe, we started to crash, and subsequently had to look for some kind folk to let us 'borrow' one of theirs... After several fruitless attempts, we finally found a helper, who said, "Here, you guys can use this, it's already packed with BC kind..." as he handed us his sweet, sweet glass (probably a $60-$75 piece). Psyched, we hit it, and tried to pass it to him for a hit..."No, just take it to your head..." was his reply. 

So we smoked the bowl, and I was packing it up with some of my kinds, to give back to him, and as I was about to do so, he turned around and said, "You know what, you guys can just keep that pipe...Happy New Year!" Our jaws dropped, and even his girlfriend was shocked... So without too much argument on our part, we made our way back up to the front. 

As the night went on, I began to get low on my own stash, now that I had a pipe... and wished out loud, "I need some more pot, now..."  With that, we sat down for a break, and I noticed a pack of cigarettes to my right. As I am a non-smoker, I have no idea why I picked the pack up, but was thrilled to look inside and find over an eighth of better stuff than what I had...Unbelievable!!

...anyway, I leaned back, looked at my girlfriend, and said, "All we need now is a lighter, and we've got the trinity..." Sure enough, as I put my hand down to steady myself, it landed right on a 3/4 Bic lighter. What a lucky and fantastic night!
