PholkTales: Random Acts of Kindness
Okay, I have one more about Trey's tour this winter. As
I have mentioned in a previous story, Richmond was
magical, especially after Blacksburg. Also, these have
been the first "shows" that I have been to since NYE
2000 b/c of my job, unfortunately. So, I was just happy
to be getting a taste of some sort of tour.

Anyway, going to Asheville two days later was a spur of the
moment decision.  I went b/c I wanted to see another show, and my old phriends Andy, Megan, Trey, and John were coming up from Clemson. They already had tickets, but I had none. So, I set out ticketless from Richmond that
Friday morning. I get to Asheville around five p.m. to
see a ton of fingers in the air... not good.

I ended up meeting up with the fellas at the Daze Inn, which was a block away, and then ventured out to try my luck. I was in front of the Wolfe for like a half hour, and I hadn't said a word, but rather kept my finger up patiently. Finally, I said "cash for your extra," just for the hell of it.

A guy directly to my right just came from will call and said twenty-five dollars, which is less than face value. I jumped on it. The guy proceeds to tell me that Trey had hooked his
dad up with five tickets at will call, and that he was
from Vermont. His father knew Trey. Incredible.

I get the tickets and find out that I am in the orchestra seats, yet again. Sick. I get in with good phriends I haven't seen in a while and see a killer show. Included in this is being seated
conveniently where the band walked down the aisle for
their entrance and exit. This put me no more than like
six feet from the band and Gordo when they walked out.

From hanging out with Trey's family at Richmond, to this
in Asheville, I have definitely had the golden touch
lately. It is too bad that I am relocating to Maine,
but that does put me closer to the phamily.
