Like everyone, I can't wait to see Phish soon. There is a trick we use to make the wait a little easier, you should try it some time.

Sometimes I lay in bed and my soon to be husband and myself put on a show. 7-20-98 is one of our favorites. We lay in bed and pretend that we are really in a tent somewhere not to far from the concert field. I imagine all the people having a wonderful time, loving life, doing something nice for someone else. I imagine all the people there are to meet just outside. All the stories to hear and the adventures to have. It makes life so much sweeter.

I just wanted to thank my soon to be husband for helping me discover music that truly matters. Music that inspires. Music that makes me smile and dance. Music that helps remind me how wonderful people can be.

Thank you to all the people out there who are actually good people. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for being considerate of others. Thank you for being there for the music and not just the lot.

Thank you to the people who don't say "Fuck You" to someone just because they want face value for a ticket and won't give it to you for free.

Thank you to all the people that make shows the most friendly, fun place on earth to be. I can't wait to meet you again, or for the first time. So next time you are stuck in traffic, feeling sick of your job, tired of school or just feeling a little hopeless and depressed, just put in a CD... close your eyes and imagine the sun beating down on your face... laughter in the air and that overwhelming wave of joy that can make you get up and dance like no one is watching.
