PholkTales: Phishy Coincidences
I started my Phish journey in Hershey, Pa. (12/1/95) at what turned out to be one of the most amazing shows I have ever seen.  From the moment I walked into this tiny arena, I was hooked.  I had never seen so many people come together to share a common bond, which we all know is music.

Four years later, I find myself on the left coast and somewhat removed from the scene. I had to get back on the road. So I decided to do as much of the fall '99 tour my job would allow me to escape for. I started out in sunny San Diego on a mission to another world. The Gorge! Twenty-six hours later, I find myself resting in one of the most beautiful campgrounds nestled in a far corner of Washington along the Columbia River Gorge.

The next day, I make my way to the concert campground, where my neighbor asks me what tunes I'd like to hear. This is where my coincidence arises. I tell him 1) I've never caught a Farmhouse, 2) I love this new tune called What's the use, and 3) a Divided Sky in a beautiful place such as this would Rock! Wouldn't you know it, I get inside to the sounds of the Farmhouse opener, enjoy a Divided sunset, and stare into the stars with the sounds of What's the use in my ears. Keep sharin in the Groove and see ya on the road.

Brett

P.S. If anyone has this show please e-mail me and I'd be happy to trade up for it.
