PholkTales: Phishy Coincidences

This tale of coincidence begins on my first full tour,
which happened to be in Europe in the winter of 1997.
It was the second show of the tour, and the show was
in a very small venue (the stage was only about 50ft from the back wall) in Brussels, Belgium.

Tickets were scarce, but there was some kind of screw up with reserved tickets.  They had lost the list of people who reserved them, so pretty much anybody could walk up and say that you had tickets reserved as long as you paid for them. I unfortunately found this out too late... by that time there were no more tickets left. I thought I would be shut out of such an amazing venue.

I was standing in front of the tickets counter, looking very
depressed, when a guy asked me if I needed a ticket. I
answered with a resounding "yes!!"  That show was
one of the best I have ever seen, and the venue was definitely the smallest I've ever seen them play in.

Fast forward to the summer of 97 in Austin Texas: again
faced with a ticket dilemma, I began scouring the infinitely
immense parking lot of South Park meadows amphitheatre. With my finger in the air and screaming at the top of my lungs, I searched for my ticket.

Deep into the parking lot and close to show time I started to get anxious, when suddenly someone calls me from behind, "hey, do you need a ticket?"  I turn around, and much to my surprise it is the very same guy who saved me in Brussels! What are the chances of that?  5000 miles apart... two tickets from the same guy.
