"What?"

I was confused by this statement (or was it a command?) from the phan passing me and my friends in the lot hours before a Great Woods summer show from '94.

He stopped and repeated himself. "Pick it up forearms, quai chang."

We all just stood there holding ice cold Sierras in utter bewilderment.

I had no idea what he was trying to communicate, but the attack of the words was so satisfying to me. After he walked on, I started laughing to the point of tears.

I really have no other point except to say that even to this day, the thought of that phrase puts me in a Phishy state of mind. I can't think of a better place to be.
