We were just underway on New Year's Day 2000. I don't think they had even done Heavy Things yet, so it was early still. Three friends and I were rather altered and very much enjoying each other's company. Along comes a man in a tigger suit.

Now, I'd seen tigger at plenty of shows before, but this time he had gone all out with the full suit, ears, tail, and 'Tigger' imprint on the front. He noticed how alert and susceptible we were and therefore approached us.

Personally, I didn't care what he had to say. I would've listened to anyone talk about anything right then, as long as it was short so I could get back to the show. Now, Tigger gathered us around in a circle, he being the fifth member. Then once we had calmed down long enough to listen to what he had to say, he started rattling off the names of far eastern countries like Thailand, Tai Pei, China.. etc, etc... I had no idea what he was getting at. The next thing he said was, "Now, they're all way ahead of us in the time zones and they had their New Year's Eve go down about 12 hours ago. Then he told us, "And there wasn't a single Y2K incident anywhere."

I had forgotten all about the Y2K nonsense, but regardless we were all extremely happy to hear that the human race had pulled it off, that the rest of the world was OK, and that all our friends who couldn't make the show were safe and sound. We thanked Tigger for filling us in and that's when the look on his face changed.

Tigger had one more thing to say. He pulled me aside from my friends, grabbed me by the collar, looked me straight in the face and told me to "Live your dreams." He did the same to my buddies, one at a time, and then bounced off into the crowd like only Tigger could.
