Hey wuzzup pholks! You may have read my story, "Phirst Show," which is about my first show, at Deer Creek. This is another thing that happened during that show. 

Me and my friendz were sitting in our spot upon the hill, just enjoying the show. Me and my boy Dominic (we were both trippin) notice these two dudes in front of us.  They were talking, and they seemed to be maybe arguing or something. Now remember, I'm trying to relate this story to you, although I was in the middle of my peak when it happened... so of course everything was quite surreal. 

But one of the guys, who looked more like he would be attending an early Metallica thrash-era show, kept on hitting this guy, who was just trying to get the guy to leave him alone, so it seemed. Then the aggressor would just laugh like a damn hyena and start dancing for a few minutes, then he would start up again!  Now, this seemed very peculiar to Dominic and I, so we asked our friend Eric, who was just stoned, if what we saw seemed as phucked up to him as it did to us. 

He looked at the guys and was like "What the hell is going on?" I mean, the Metallica guy kept harassing the hippie-looking dude, for no reason, then he would laugh maniacally, begin to dance, and then start all over! Talk about weird! Finally, some people came over and took the man away, not sure if they were his friends, or what. But apparently this situation was as warped as my tripping mind though it was. 

To this day, me and my friends double over in laughter whenever we remember that little spat. Sometimes, I'd like to stop tripping to see what is really going on. But being in my state, I was beginning to get scared, because the guy was trying to mosh with everybody and he was getting close to us. He was pretty damn big, too. But stupid little insignificant experiences like these are what make Phish shows the transcendent experience that they are. Peace out, live long and prosper!
