Well, they all had their tickets already, and I ended up having to get one through a broker, who was supposed to drop it off at the box office. I was already a little disgruntled that I had to pay a dick and a nut for my ticket, but hey, I knew it was worth every penny. 

So we get to the lot super early, we're doin' our thing, and at around 4 I decided to go pick up my ticket...and it's not there. I wigged (mildly.) No problem, he says, they'll probably drop it off by 5. OK. Back to the lot, no worries, right? Back to the box office at 5:30. No dice. I'm fully pissed. Don't worry, he says, they'll probably drop it off right before the concert. 7:15 and I have no ticket. The guy was like, well, call your broker tomorrow and get your money back. I don't WANT my money, I want to get my ass into that concert! 

My eyes fill with tears, and I realize that I am totally screwed. No point in going out to the lot to look for one. I mean, I saw about 5 million people with their fingers up all day. I was crushed. I turned around and there was a girl standing there. I sniffed pitifully and asked in a small voice if she was going to have an extra ticket. And she said...yeah, actually, I will. WHAT!!!! She sold it to me for $25 and I walked in just as the music began. What exhiliaration! If ever there was an angel...
