PholkTales: Miscellaneous
I have seen phish 2 times in Atlanta and Trey two times also. I never had the chance to go see them a lot.

I met a new friend about a year ago that loves phish also. After much sadness and debating, we chose to go to Saratoga Springs to see the boys on Saturday.

He had just moved to North Carolina from Texas so we had to fly up separately to Albany and drive up to Saratoga Springs. The trip went so smoothly. Our flights were on time and we got our rental car and were off. We had a few drinks at the Applebee's near the hotel and set off for the lots.

We had lawn tickets but at the last minute on Friday decided to upgrade to pavilion and sell our lawn tickets when we got there. After we get to the lots and party for a while, we head to the Will Call to pick up our new tickets. At first they could not locate them and I was starting to get worried, but after a few minutes of begging they found the tickets and we were able to sell ours. We already had people wanting them. We sold them for what we paid even though we could have made a lot more money. I would expect the same kindness if i were buying a ticket. So we got into the venue and it was so beautiful. Everything felt just right. The crowd, the location.

So Reba starts and man are they on. The entire show was tight from beginning to end. The crowd was enjoying the hell out of it. The highlights were David Bowie, and the Piper>Gotta Jibbo. This was by far the best show I have been too. You could tell that Phish was quitting. They were intent on making there last tour special. The night was something special indeed.

I have been depressed this whole week. That show was a total mind experience. I have been out of it all week. The sad thing about this whole experience is that there is now one even close to give us that kind of experience. I am truly going to miss Phish. Their music is magical and will always inspire freedom and joy for all.
