PholkTales: Miscellaneous
Hi peeps. I've been to 21 shows total (all east coast) and am planning to hit Miami on December. I've been to Lakewood amphitheatre in Atlanta for a few shows and would like to share 2 funny experiences.

July 3rd, 1999: My 2 friends and I are in the lot for the 1st of two nights. We got there early, which is generally a ritual with me. We are sitting in the parking lot and I had some nice green gel tabs. Well we ate way too many of these tabs and way too early, and by about 5 pm we are all three a bunch of babbling idiots.

We go inside the venue and my one friend is seriously spun. We go up to the beer vendor and my friends says to the vendor, "Give me a budweiser." the vendor says, "It's coors or coors light." My friend, obviously not having a clue what the guy says, repeats again, "Give me a budweiser." the vendor then again repeats, "It's coors or coors light." My friend then shouts at the vendor, "Just gimme my goddamn beer!!!" My other friend and I just started laughing uncontrollably.

It is now my turn to get a beer. I just couldn't resist so i say to the vendor, "Give me a budweiser." the vendor just rolls his eyes at me and says, "Here we go again." I chuckled a few minutes and said, "Okay, coors." Very fun show indeed that night.

The following year I take my then girlfriend to the two night Atlanta run. Before we even got into the show she had lost her shoes. My friends and I gave her hell about this all night and all the next day.

Well for the following night, Phish throwed us a Cavern for the first set closer and I just couldn't wait for the those ending lyrics. I shouted at my girl, "this next verse is for you, baby." "Whatever you do take care of your shoes." Cavern is now her favorite Phish tune. See ya'll in Miami.

Peace,

Archie AKA busternutbag
