The second day we arise when the sun bakes us out of our tents. It's me and Matt and three heads from IU. Smoking and cooking all day was the routine. About 11:00 we start to notice a man in proably his late 40's, hell, he could have been 30 with 20 years of serious drug abuse aging his face but lets say 49. At the site of the campers next to us we witness the first appearance of the bum.

This man walks up to our neighbor campers' lawn chair and proceeds to have what looked like a staring contest resulting in a wrestling match. This was the funniest thing that me and Matt had seen all week. But the fun ended (well, not really) when he walked over to our site.

The Bum with his long black stringy, greasy, hair and his face wrinkled over from years of whisky. He wore one right elbow pad and one left knee pad. And he walked with a fucking Gandalf came. He came over to us and picked up our stereo and held it to his ear. "HUHGGGUUMMUHH?" he asked. We didn't know what the fuck was going on, we were a little inebriated.

He shook the stereo and set it back down to our relief. "Goooooggghhhuunju" he shouted at us. We could do little but look down and wait for this creep to fuck off. Finally with his last hoorah and jumped over to our trash bag, and I swear to god without even looking, reaches in and grabs a plastic water bottle and says, "Huuuggggdd, yous need recycle this ghug" and that was it. After that he ran off and we laughed our asses off.

But I couldn't help but wonder, this is Deer Creek camping, was this a local freak or had he been doing the tour like us? I would have been amazed if he even knew who phish was. oh well I guess. let me know if you saw this guy.
