1995: i was in high school, and as most high school students are, i was broke. i had been listening to phish a lot and really diggin it. my buddy and i thought it was time to see our first show. we scrapped together what little cash we had and ordered 2 tickets for the Niagara falls show. thankfully, tickets were only 20 bucks back then. we really wanted to do more shows, but with our financial situation that was out of the question.

when the envelope finally came from ticketmaster, we discovered that they had screwed up. instead of our two tickets, they sent us 11. oh happy day. after miracling a few friends, we still had enough tickets left to trade for albany and Binghamton, and we wound up with the mini tour that we wanted.

i've seen a lot of shows since then, but those three will always stick out in my mind. thank you ticketmaster, you made my day.
