PholkTales: Miscellaneous

One of my good friends, Tommy, and I are really into Story of the Ghost, especially Velvet Sea. We have listened to it a million times but had never seen it live. During the summer 2000 tour we both had tickets for the 3rd night at Deer Creek, but I was camping out and Tommy was just coming over for the day. As anybody knows, the campgrounds at Deer Creek are full of N2O tanks and anything else you want, so by the time the show started I was kinda fucked up.

I had about 5 or 6 things in me and I was ready for a great show. The show was excellent and the vibes were great. I spent most the time away from my friends and just meeting new people and having a great time. Then Velvet Sea started and I thought of Tommy right away.

My friend walked out of the crowd and right up to me and said "Do you know what fucking song this is? I love Phish." We gave each other a big hug and enjoyed the great Velvet Sea encore. It was the greatest moment of my life and I want to thank Phish and all of my phriends out there..
