PholkTales: Miscellaneous
This tale goes out to anyone who is in their pre-career years, a wonderful, yet taken-for-granted period in one's life. I now work in a Corporate office, where I sit in a cubicle, and on the scale of stature, I am nothing more than a peon.

Don't let me lose your attention, Phish does incorporate into this story momentarily. About a month ago, I discovered a couple of sites that had non-stop Phish 24/7. And since then I can honestly say that if it wasn't for them, I would have completely lost my sanity. No pun intended, of course!

Here is my first bit of advice, it is better to be a little broke and happy, then to make good money and be emotionally distraught. Here's justification for my quarries. I started listening to Phish in '94', and instantly fell in love with the mystery and charisma behind their antics. I don't mean to sound cheesy about it, but when I reminisce it seems to run through my head like smooth poetry.

One summer I went to a show with some friends. We ended up camping out for all 3 days. It was incredible. Laying on the ground outside of the amphitheatre, hearing the sounds of the band as well as the crowd going crazy. It didn't even bother me that a police officer came up to me to make sure that I was still alive. In fact I really appreciated his concern. I can't honestly say I remember any of the songs I hear that evening. I do remember hearing Mockingbird. Which is forever one of my inspirational songs.

I went to other shows over the next couple of years, and they were just as incredible. I think 2000 was the last one I went to, and again I didn't even attempt to get tickets, cause with the lake by deer creek glowing with the reflection of the moon and all the smells of the parking lot and just people talking, hugging and loving each other, I would almost have felt restricted to be confined to the actual amphitheatre. This is where the story settles back down.

To anyone out their that is skeptical to whiter or not Phish will reunite, think positive. I once heard that if you think positive about something such as a wish, that there is a 60% chance it will happen. So why don't we all think positive, and see what happens. Maybe I can blow this joint and create the sequel of my life in Phisdom.
