PholkTales: Encounters with the Band

It was my fourth or fifth phish show, and somehow I ended up getting backstage @ the oz. The Oz Night Club was a tiny tiny place that fit 300-400 people, tops. There was a vegetable plate with cheese (kinda nasty), and a huge bucket filled with beer (good for that cuz the oz wasn't serving). Marley was back stage; it was pretty awesome.

The second set ended and the band came back.  They didn't look like they were in a great mood... the first thing I heard was Page talking about the lack of "Brie Cheese" on the food table. Anyway, I soon left to see my friends.

The highlight of this experience is at the end of the show.  Trey was showing his new languedoc guitar to a group of people, and I asked if I could play it. He said no, but then handed me his first languedoc guitar, and kindly let me play it.
