i met the whole band (minus trey) that week, but the greatest was in champaign. i met this sister @ the clifford ball & we became very close. the night before champaign (U of K, ky) she met page & they chilled for a bit. it was getting late & he asked if she would be in champaign. she said no but this kid she was seeing (me) would be. 

she ended up getting 2 tix & passes for champaign & DIDN'T tell me. we talk that night & she asks what section i'd be in, but i didn't think of anything @ the time. long story short...she finds me in my section (way spun) & sticks a pass on me. i have no clue what to expect. 

aftershow we meet Bart Butler (he takes us back).  we're all chillin; tracy introduces me to page (we hit it off, we're both tauruses) & tracy's off with fishman. a bit later she drags me over to their table, (fish, mike, mimi & 3 other kidz). just a total blast!!! it was very funny. someone gave mike the 'brothers in arms' CD (dire straights) that night & he was playin' it (VERY LOUD). 

it ended up being tracy, mimi, and me, & i kid you not we smoked 1/2 of an 1/8 of diggy. it was great...st. louis was the next show (the infamous "M" show), the night before trey played w/ some band @ the broadway oyster bar in st.louie.  I missed that but i did catch Gordon @ molly's playing whipping post w/ a band called the kind. 

Mimi was there as well (we ate choclate chip cookies together). back @ the keil center tracy & i went backstage that night as well (as well as K.C.) but no trey, no popper, just fish, mimi & mike. i've been backstage 6-7 times now & still NEVER met trey...
