we shimmied down through the crown and i look up at this guy who almost runs my toes over on a scooter! before i even look up i yell, "watch it fluff head!" with my hand flailing in the air. he stops, leans forward, and gives me a wink....yup yup it was mike and i felt way stupid... so i said, "well, i bet i can give you the biggest smile you've ever seen."  he said, "lemme see what you got."  you should have seen it kids...

he gave a sigh and rode off with the wind, only to be stopped like 100 feet later by a news camera and some heads... i shimmied through the close knit circle where phans got to ask big gordo some questions... i waited my turn and said, "mike mike!"  he looked over at the smile girl... shit... i didn't even know what i was gonna ask...

so i said, "Mike, when was the last time you spoke to Judith Hall?"  I thought i'd stun him with a way personal question... no one knew who the hell she is so they all just shut up.. he said it had been a couple of months, but they were still in close contact... this woman is a reaserch psychologist who is my sisters co-researcher on many articles and books... it's mike's auntie basically... she's a sweet woman who i love to death, and she always has the best stories to tell me about mike =)

i'll never forget the way mike looked at me when i brought up that name- like i was one of the creepy, know-too-much about your life fans... no no mike... just tryin to give a shout out to the fam....be good family everyone!
