My friend Noah had two hamptons to trade and he left to talk to a dude while we continued to hold a sign in the street saying, "We need a Miracle Everyday."  We were also blowing bubbles and handing out lollipops to other Phish fans. After seven hours of smoking, wandering and searching for a ticket for my buddy, we figured he must have gotten in and that we would hang out for a bit.

We had been having weird omens all day...people telling us that our karma was going to be paid back to us, that they could see it was our lucky night...  After about the 6th hour of standing out in front of MSG, I went to smoke, but Ashley said she had a feeling she should hang out. When I came back and had just rounded the corner, some men came up to me and one put some paper in my hand and said, "Happy New Year...Shhh!" I looked into the face of the man ahead of me and realized it was Trey! Trey had just touched my arm...Trey had spoken to me....but wait, he had also given me some paper...A TICKET!!! It must have taken about 30 seconds to register, and I'm not even sure if I thanked him... I was in shock.

I don't know whether someone saw us out there all day and it had been planned that my friends and me would get them, or that it had just been pure luck...but either way, I GOT MY MIRACLE...and it was all because of Phish! They're such incredible musicians, and on top of that I can now say that their hearts are as pure as their jams. It's so rewarding to know that Phish really loves their fans. They're not all about making money, but about the music and the community that has embraced it...

And I'm not sure if Phish ever gets on here to read this, but since I will probably never have the pleasure of being inches from you ever again, I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart...you gave me the most amazing night of my life with my best friend...at YOUR show...shit doesn't get better than that :)
