The sound was beautiful and clear in this tiny room, maybe 100 people. The dude from Talkin Heads was the commentator, by the way. They did a lot from Ghost, since it came out around then. Seein them up so close was really crazed, Fishman on taste is a machine, incredible. 

Anyway... after the show, we could walk up across the tiny 20-20 or15-15 stage and look at their stuff. I play guitar so of course I went to look at Trey's setup. It's insane... he has all these switches. Here is when it gets interesting... me and my brother Eric were wonderin, hey if we wait around the back by the equipment trucks maybe we can meet them, which is right by the back door. 

Some lady came out, there were maybe 5 of us still waitin, and she says, who wants a free Phish Book?? I jumped up and got it; it just came out at the time. Then we are gettin ready to leave when we see Page.  He's a cool guy, my brother was like, you got a go-t, he laughed, then out walk Trey an Mike. Fish slipped by but we didn't see him. We talk to Trey and i tell him how i play, and he was like, "That's great, keep on playing." i asked him for a pick but he checked and he had none, bummer. 

Then he leaves and mike comes out.  We talk to him and ask him what's the deal wit destiny unbound after a few minutes of chat. He says maybe soon. Anyway, they all go back inside except for Mike, he goes off with his Wife/GF? and they start walking around NYC.  It was funny that he's just walking around NYC, must be nice.

anyway, me and my bro start walkin to get a few beers and then he comes walkin around the block and he sees us.  He's just like, "hey... you guys again, i'll see you guys later." i don't know if he meant it like, what are you doing still here? or if he was just bein himself as i don't know him, but i'll take it as just mike bein mike... I got them to sign my new Phish book, which was cool. I have pictures of this, and i will try to get them up here
