 PholkTales: Encounters With the Band
Now this story is under encounters with the band because I did not know where else to put it. I was working at a Papa Gino's in western MA when an older man walked in. I looked up at him and saw he was wearing a Phish hat. I asked him if he liked Phish to start up a conversation with him. He said, "I love Phish. Would you believe me if I told you I have been to over 60 shows?" 

I said yes, and he said, "Well, I'm actually the drummer's father." "Jon Fishman?" I asked. "Someone has to be his father" he replied. I shook his hand and asked him if he had any inside info about the band's return. He said that it would be sometime next year in 2002. This was the only encounter i have ever had with anyone even remotely affiliated with phish and I thought I would share it.
