Sure enough, I walk through the doors to the show, still early and not too many people, who's already chillin'?? You guessed it, Page! There was a line of people waiting to speak with him, which I thought was a little foolish, but who am I to judge? Anyways, I go up to the bar to get a beer, and from the other side of the bar, my brother is motioning to me. 

I'm looking at him with this strange look... just then I realize that Mike Gordon is standing right next to me.  Now I'm only 6' 1", but damn, Mike seemed short. I look at him, nod my head as if to say, "you just plain fucking rock!" (Real Subtle like though).  Really, I had no intro, nothing worthwhile to say, and didn't feel like embarrassing myself. 

Well, fast forward about an hour. Now the line to speak with Page has dispersed, and I figure now or never! I walk up to him, almost shaking from disbelief, and finally say hello. I can't even begin to tell you how easy it was to talk to him. He made me feel very comfortable, and at ease. After a few minutes of chatting, he reaches out to shake my hand and says it's been great talking with you! 

Needless to say, this was one of the best days of my life. I look forward to meeting Trey, Jon, and Mike, considering I couldn't come up with anything valid to talk about with him before. Thanks Page...I still can't believe it!!
