6/30/00-   I found myself having an x-tra ticket for the first night at Hartford.  My good buddy Poppa Jon didn’t have a ticket for July 4th, so I decided to trade my Xtra for the 4th ticket.  As we were sitting in traffic I decided to hop out and try to make the trade.  As I’m walking up the row of traffic asking, "Tonight for the 4th?" someone said, "that guy up in the green Volvo has that trade."

I was very excited and ran up to the Volvo, and before I even looked inside I was saying, "HEY, I GOT YOUR TRADE!!!!!!!!!"  Before I knew what I was saying, I was staring right at Mike Gordon.  He responded, "No, I'm alright."  Laughing my ass off I said, "I bet you are."  15 cars up I got my trade and showed Mike on the way back, and he nodded.  The kid that told me to go to the Volvo set me up, but I thanked him for the joke and went back to Poppa Jon with one hell of a story.
