PholkTales: 8/14/02 - Phish Returns

Hello all, First let me say I have been a phish fan for quite some time. However, when I attended the Long Island 2/28/03 show it was my first show. I also decided there was no better way to go than right on the floor. We had 10th row seats and Trey was looking straight at us for about 90% of the time. We even had our own bathroom two bars and a nightclub (it was closed) designed for floor seats.

We hung out in the lot and jammed out to some Gin and Juice, Sample in Jar, Cities, and various other tunes before the show.

So we went inside and before the show these two dudes from Vermont sat down behind us. We were talking about how we got out tickets and I told them I got ours on ebay. So these cats decide to tell us how they got theirs. It turns out Trey A. and his family was at a ski lodge that one of these guys worked at and they hooked him up big time. The kid asked Trey what was the highlight of his career and Trey answered "by far New years Eve in Big Cypress Florida".

So the dude got his shirt signed by Trey (since the kid was a guitarist and inspired by him) and he hooked them up with tickets. But get this!!!!!! Trey told him "JUST MAKE SURE IT'S NO MORE THAN 100 TICKETS on the guest list". Holy Moly Rolly Poly!!!!!!!! Big props to Phish for putting out good vibes and good karma in the audience.
