OK It was the day of the G-boro show. I live in Greensboro and my girlfriend was disappointed when the show sold out in 45 minutes on Dec 13(I think) and it is her birthday on March 3. I said "Don't worry babe. I'll get us in. And you'll have a great Birthday".

Any who, I live about five blocks from the coliseum. So's I'm walkin to the computer lab the day of the show to do some work( I go to UNCG). I see some kids who seem like they are askin for directions( The gentle-souled geographer I am, I am more than happy to help folks with directions). Well, these kids had a ticket plastered against the window and ask if I wanna buy it. Well in my mind I know that this is the day that my girl is havin a party due to the fact that she didn't have a ticket and she wanted to celebrate her B-day. BUT I knew that she would be stoked about the ticket.

So, I bought the it (Thanks Lindsey, Aaron and B.J.!!) and I called my girl and told her that I had a surprise for her. Later on, she calls me back and she practically cried after I told her I had the ticket. She had been bithchin for three months about how she did not have a ticket when PHISH was in our town. So I gave her her B-day present and then I went back to the lab . About an hour later my roommate called with news of another extra. I jumped on it and she and I were able to see a steller show including Divided Sky, Wading (her favorites), and Antelope and YEM (a couple of my favs.) What a great night it turned out to be. We are still Up getting crazy.
