I almost cried when I saw those big letters spell out "HIATUS OVER," and I jumped out of my seat and yelled, "THEY'RE BACK!" Of course my Co Workers were a bit confused at first, but they know of my passion for Phish, and they were happy right along with me. I left work early that day because I was too excited to sit in a building on such a beautiful day doing work.

I drove home with the music up and a big grin on my face. This is something we all have anticipated for a while now. Who knew if they were even going to return?

I don't want to bore you with the rest of the story of me calling my friends because I'm sure you all know how it went. All I want to say is that I've been going through some tough times these last few years, and when Phish went off tour, it was like having your child ripped from your arms and taken away. Phish coming back was one of 2 things in my life that could have made me happy at this point, and now I don't feel so empty inside any more. Phish makes me a better and happier person. If I could say anything to them, it would be Thank You.
